Our goal is to build a culture within our platform that values openness, honesty, sincerity and strives for constructive progress.  And something that is safe to use for all ages.

This requires more than just good product design.  It requires attention on our behalf and requires a community that reinforces it at all levels.  We promise to do our part to proactively and forcefully eliminate all unacceptable behavior.

We have built tools to help us all identify inappropriate behavior and block or remove it.  You can find the full description of unacceptable behavior in our Synth Rules.

Just as important is your feedback. If you aren't sure, share your concerns. If you have questions or ideas on how we can do this better?  We'd love to hear them.

Blocking users

Synth Rules prohibit harassment and unacceptable behavior. If you feel someone is violating these rules or otherwise threatening you, you have the option of immediately blocking them at any time.

Blocking a user is double blind. You will no longer see the blocked users content or profile anywhere in the app. The blocked user will also no longer see your content or profile, nor will they be notified about being blocked.

You can block a user by navigating to their profile, clicking the 3 dot menu and selecting Block user option.

Marking Inappropriate Content

Synth has strict rules of conduct that are documented in our Rules.

When you see a Synth that you believe violates those rules or the culture we are trying to create, we encourage you to flag that content as inappropriate.

To flag content, simply click on the 3-dot menu and select "Report as Inappropriate".
